The Founder of Abel Damina ministries and Power City International, Abel Damina, said that clapping for Jesus Christ is a wrong practice.
The cleric made this known during the church programme, stated that clapping in the church is not in line with the Christian doctrine.
Pastor Abel said that in the Bible, to clap signifies mockery, whereas when people clap in accordance with earthly activities and understanding, then it can be seen as a means of celebration.
He stated further that when it comes to giving glory to Jesus, we do not clap, rather, we lift up our holy hands to honor Him.
"we don’t worship God based on our terms but on his terms, so we must unlearn some of the things we have learnt over time", Pastor Abel Damina said.
